The Tokeneke Classic is a USA Cycling sanctioned bicycle road race around the Barkhamsted reservoir in central Connecticut.  The challenging 22-mile loop was chosen for the terrain and spectacular beauty. The Tokeneke Classic is once again, both the CT State Championship and the New England Regional Road Race Championship. As such, it draws a very competitive field.

For each Category, the field completes from 1 - 4 x
22-mile laps.   Masters are always the largest fields.  During 2018, we are planning a 2-lap 44 mile Cat-5's.  See the Flyer for more details.

The 2018 edition of the Tokeneke saw 365 racers in 12 separate fields.  The Pro1/2 Men complete a 4-lap, 88-mile race and the Pro/1/2 Women complete a 3-lap 66 mile race.   The finishing sprint flattens out, but it comes at the end of a 2-mile, 4% climb.
